Crew Battles:

• What Are Crew Battles?: Crew battles are a competitive format in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate where two teams, called “crews,” compete against each other. Each crew consists of a set number of players, typically 3 to 5, though larger crew sizes are also common.
• Structure: In a crew battle, each player on a crew takes turns fighting members of the opposing crew. Matches are usually played with a stock count, where each player has a certain number of lives (stocks).
• Mechanics:
  • Sequential Play: Players from each crew compete one-on-one. When a player is defeated, they are out of the battle, and a new player from their crew takes their place.
  • Stock Carryover: If a player wins a match and still has stocks remaining, they carry those stocks into their next match. For example, if Player A wins with 2 stocks left, they start the next match against Player B with those 2 stocks.
  • Strategy: Crews often strategize their player order based on matchups, aiming to counter the opposing team’s characters and playstyles effectively.
• Victory Conditions: The crew that eliminates all the opposing crew members’ stocks first is declared the winner.
