MiHSEF will be offering the following game titles* during the Spring 2023 regular season:
Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play, team-based action game set in the optimistic future, where every match is the ultimate 5v5 battlefield brawl.
Players are split into two teams and select a "hero" from a roster of 35 characters. Characters are organized into a "damage" class, responsible for offensive efforts; a "support" class, responsible for healing and buffing; and a "tank" class, responsible for the team's protection. Each character has a unique set of skills, made up of active, passive, and ultimate abilities. The game primarily centers on player versus player (PvP) combat across several different modes and maps.
Overwatch 2 is a community based offering scheduled to be played every Tuesday at 4pm during the Spring 2023 season.
Rocket League is "soccer, but with rocket-powered cars".
The game has two teams of three players per team that use rocket-powered vehicles to hit a ball into their opponent's goal and score points over the course of a match. It features customizable vehicles that allow players to perform tricks, trigger explosions, and activate ‘boosts’ that help them hit the ball and score.
Rocket League is scheduled to be played every Wednesday at 4pm during the Spring 2023 season.
SMITE is a team based third person MOBA featuring legendary mythological icons. Wield Thor’s hammer, turn your foes to stone as Medusa, or flex your divine power as one of 100+ playable Gods. No matter your skill level, SMITE has something for you!
The goal of each game is to destroy the opposing team's Phoenixes and the Titan, a giant warrior who must be defeated to win the game.
SMITE is scheduled to be played every Thursday at 4pm during the Spring 2023 season.
